Will human beings stop to socialize?

Will human beings stop to socialize?

We talk about the fact that the machines and technology are slowly taking over the world. But one thing we don’t acknowledge as much is the fact that the human being, is more or less forced into a state where they don’t really have to be social anymore. I’m wondering how many people who actually thought about this. This will have a huge impact on some peoples social life, even if they realize it or not.

But what exactly do I mean?
Well, it’s pretty simple. You don’t really have to go to a store anymore to buy food or anything really, you can just order it online – straight from your couch – to your mailbox or door. Which I know some people find this super convenient and love it. And some people don’t see the value of it, and still goes to the stores or do something in between. Maybe they buy the food in stores and get clothes online, or opposite.

But is it bad though?
I’m not saying that the digital development is bad, I’m just putting it out there that there’s health issues that can be affected by it. And we have to take this seriously. If you have anxiety for example, this might be a good thing, that you don’t really have to leave the house. But on the other hand, if that was the only thing that made you leave the house – you really need it. Convenient is not always good.

Everything is getting more and more “high tech” because the focus on efficiency has increased dramatically. There won’t be any cashiers in whatever store you might go to, because the technology will take over. This can be a persons only interaction per day or week, and this is more valuable than you could ever imagine.

So, how will this effect the humanity in the future? Will people get more depressed? Or lazy and comfortable? Well, I guess only time will tell. And I don’t think I’m the only one who have thought about this. But I think it’s important to get it out there.
